AI for games: characters you can actually talk to and models that build 3D objects. Only two so far, AI2U and Point-E. Every one I have on the site. The ones I’ve fully reviewed carry my verdict; the rest are older pages I’m bringing up to date.

    OpenAI's free, open-source model from 2022 that turns a text prompt or a single image into a colored 3D point cloud, and the cloud into a mesh. Runs in Python.
