Chatsonic is a conversational AI chatbot developed by Writesonic. This AI tool allows users to interact through voice or text commands to generate accurate and relevant content in real time.

Older page, not redone yet. I wrote this in January 2023. I’m redoing these pages one by one, with my own screenshots and my verdict; this one’s still in the queue.

Some companies are looking to surpass ChatGPT with new solutions, such as Writesonic and its Chatsonic platform, which is presented as ChatGPT but with “superpowers”.

While ChatGPT is trained with information up to the year 2021 and cannot process requests with more current information, Chatsonic has integration with Google to be able to perform tasks with real-time information, such as summaries of the most important news of the day.

Users can also interact with Chatsonic via voice commands, allowing them to save time compared to constantly typing text commands. In addition, Chatsonic allows the artistic creation of digital images in a wide variety of styles simply by making the request for what is desired. To use Chatsonic, it is necessary to have a Writesonic user account, with different plans available, including a free one with certain limitations.

What’s New

Chatsonic has just released some amazing updates. We can now generate images using two different models: Stable Diffusion and DALL-E. Also, Chatsonic has added “Personas“, which means that we can change Chatsonic’s mode and make it behave in different ways. Quite curious about this feature. I also noticed that Chatsonic has improved its ability to remember previous conversations and answer subsequent questions without having to ask for the same information again.

You can choose how you want Chatsonic to react to your requests. Thus simulating being a character with a defined profile.

Other changes include faster response times for Google-enabled queries, the ability to share specific answers or entire conversations with friends, exporting entire conversations as PDFs or Word documents, and the option to have Chatsonic read answers aloud like Siri or Google Assistant, although at the moment in Spanish it speaks as if it had ten chewing gums in its mouth. In addition, we can use the thumbs up/down buttons to help train Chatsonic and copy any answer to the clipboard or edit it to make it even better.
