The trend of Studio Ghibli has captured the attention of many, but ChatGPT has something more to offer than just nostalgic images. Its native image generation function has proven to be incredibly versatile, allowing for the creation of everything from attractive visual menus to stunning infographics. However, one of the most fascinating uses we have found is the ability to make WhatsApp stickers that truly stand out.

Imagine being able to extract these stickers and use them in WhatsApp, iMessage, and other messaging applications. Thanks to a simple, yet ingenious prompt by Aaron Ng, I decided to try creating a set of stickers using my own image and the results were surprising. With ChatGPT’s free image generation, anyone can create custom stickers that reflect a variety of emotions.

How to create custom stickers with ChatGPT

To start, I simply uploaded my image to ChatGPT and used the prompt: “turn me into a chibi sticker set”. This Japanese artistic style, known as chibi, turns characters into adorable figures with large expressive eyes. The quality of the results was incredible, and the resulting sticker set managed to capture a childlike humor that I loved.

When you have requested the initial prompt, you can make more requests with different types of emotions and intensities.

In a single attempt, ChatGPT can generate up to four stickers within a transparent image. Once you have created your set, you can download them and use them in your messaging applications. However, extracting them can be somewhat complicated, so here’s a quick guide to make this process easier.
